Magabala Books is thrilled to announce our next exciting grant round in partnership with Australian Indigenous Coffee (AIC) offering 2x Creative Grants worth $10,000 each. These grants will support storytellers, writers, illustrators and artists to work on a current manuscript or illustration portfolio.

Proudly an Aboriginal-owned and operated company, Australian Indigenous Coffee, reinvest directly into Aboriginal-led initiatives that build community resilience, create opportunity, and strengthen culture.

AIC supports programs in literacy, arts, culture, entrepreneurship, youth development, and economic empowerment across Australia. With their long-term commitment to building strong, sustainable futures for Aboriginal communities, every cup of coffee they serve helps fuel these programs—creating opportunities, preserving culture, and investment in the next generation.

This Magabala creative grant grant is open to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander storytellers and writers working in any genre and illustrators working in any medium.
