Seven titles shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Book of the Year Awards!

We're thrilled to announce seven titles have been shortlisted for the Speech Pathology Australia's Book of the Year Awards:

The Butterfly Garden - Michael Torres and Fern Martins
Baby Business - Jasmine Seymour
Mum's Elephant - Maureen Jipiyiliya Nampijinpa O'Keefe and Christina Booth
Cooee Mittigar - Jasmine Seymour and Leanne Mulgo Watson
Girls Can Fly - Sally Morgan and Ambelin Kwaymullina

 

What a line-up! Congratulations to all these creators.

The Speech Pathology Awards aim to promote quality Australian books that help children get the best, most literate start in life, and each book is judged on its appeal to children, interactive quality and ability to assist speech pathologists and parents in communication and literacy development.

Books are shortlisted across age-range categories and all the above titles are also in the running for the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Book Award.
