Magabala Books is seeking an energetic, creative and organised marketing professional to manage all marketing and publicity functions, including title-specific marketing and publicity campaigns, Magabala’s brand objectives and communications strategy.
The role requires a proactive, multi-tasking professional, able to set priorities and communicate clearly and effectively with external stakeholders and within our small team. The candidate will possess an aptitude for managing authors and balancing cultural or other considerations, while maintaining a consumer-marketing focus. A clear knowledge of marketplace trends and social media strategy is essential.
The successful applicant must be passionate about supporting and celebrating the work of Indigenous storytellers, authors and illustrators.
