We are seeking applications for a Sales and Office Manager. This is a newly created position at Magabala Books, Australia’s leading Indigenous publisher. This is an exciting opportunity to join Magabala’s growing, dynamic team and to support and celebrate the work of Indigenous storytellers, writers and illustrators from around Australia.

The Sales & Office Manager is responsible for the sales team including reception, bookshop, web-sales, wholesale, staff supervision and training. They also manage office administration including supporting the CEO in management of HR, and organisational policies and procedures.
We are looking for an experienced and successful manager with strong interpersonal, communication, administration and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be a practical multi-tasker who can operate at management level, and is prepared to get the job done themselves when necessary. They will work collaboratively as part of a small and busy, multi-disciplinary team.
A full driver’s licence is required and the ability to lift boxes of books, one at a time (up to 15 kilos each box), in accordance with OHS procedures.
